Susan Bryant

Born on March 22, 1968, in Walthill, Nebraska, Susie was the beloved daughter of Ray and Martha Archer. She was known for her kind heart, quiet strength, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family and friends. Her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Above all else, Susie fiercely loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a treasured daughter, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Ethan, whom she affectionately called her "Monkey." She loved him unconditionally, fiercely advocating for him every step of the way and always being his safe place. Her love, guidance, and unwavering support shaped his life in countless ways, and there was never a doubt that he was the center of her world.

Susie was the proud owner of TMC Home Loans in Trinity, Texas, for more than 20 years, where she helped countless families achieve the dream of homeownership. She was known for taking wonderful care of her customers, treating each one with kindness, honesty, and compassion throughout the home-buying process. She was also the proud owner of Sudsy Duds, a laundromat she built from the ground up in Trinity. Through hard work, determination, and her entrepreneurial spirit, she built businesses that reflected her dedication to serving the community she loved. Beyond her businesses, she generously gave back to her community through her service on the board of a local Trinity-area bank, reflecting her deep commitment to the people and town she called home.

Shortly before her passing, Susie became an author, creating a special legacy for the children she loved most. She wrote Sleepy Time especially for her beloved son, Ethan, and also wrote books for her great-nieces and great-nephew. Through these stories, she shared her love, imagination, and gentle spirit, leaving her family treasured gifts they will cherish for generations to come.

Susie had a wonderful sense of humor and a remarkable gift for storytelling. Whether she was sharing a funny experience from her own life or recalling cherished family memories, she had a way of making everyone laugh until they cried. Her quick wit, infectious laughter, and ability to find joy in life's everyday moments made every gathering brighter and left her family with stories they will continue to tell for years to come.

Family meant everything to Susie. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, and she looked forward to it every year. The kitchen would come alive as everyone cooked together, while Susie filled the house with the aroma of homemade pies, cakes, cookies, and countless baked treats made especially for those she loved. Around the Thanksgiving table, her unforgettable stories and laughter became part of the family's treasured traditions. Those gatherings, filled with delicious food, laughter, and cherished memories, were among her greatest joys. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she cherished every opportunity to bring everyone together.

Although her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and in the presence of her Lord.

Susie is survived by her loving husband, Gary Bryant; her beloved son, Ethan Bryant; her mother, Martha Archer; her sister, Twila Delgado and brother-in-law, Steven Delgado; her niece, Christy Keith and husband, Mitchell Keith; her great-nieces and great-nephew; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Archer, and her brother, Clifford Archer.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on July 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and Committal from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US.
