Sylvia was the most kind and caring person. I am so thankful to have had her as my grandma for the last 13 years. She always made me feel welcome and at home. She has made a huge impact on so many people around her, with her kind heart and love for the Lord. I am especially thankful for the impact on my husband, Sean, and the man she helped raised him to be. She will be missed by me and so many that loved her.

My mom had the biggest heart than anyone I know. She struggled as a single parent and did her best to be a mother and father to me, my brother and sister. She had such a hard life but she always had her doors open to others in need. She was such a trusting soul, sometimes too trusting. She always loved children and she became "GRANDMA" to many neighborhood children. She always made sure the missionary kids always had a place to eat when they were hungry. She has touched so many lives for the better. She may not have had a lot of material things but in spirit, Love for God and in Love for others she had a Goldmine.
I can not express in words how much I love my mom and how much she will be missed, even though I know she has earned her wings and is happy in Heaven. She is with no more suffering and for that I thank God.
Love you to Heaven and Back Mom,
Sherry

I worked with Sylvia, who preferred being called Grandma, between 1976 and 1980. Her examples of kindness, patience, inclusion and forgiveness have informed my life ever since. 40 years passed since we spent days, nights and weekends working shiftwork together, but she remains in my, and now our hearts, Karen and mine, for all our days.
Vaya Con Dios, beloved friend.

My wonderful sister in law. There are so many memories . She did my wedding in 1977 and what a beautiful gift from her. She was there for me when no one else was. I loved her so much. Me and Tami would do things and Sherry and Gayla would get caught. Tami and I would laugh so hard. Rest in peace and you'll never be forgotten. I love and will see you in Heaven one day.
