Ted Flores, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 2, 1937 in Galveston, Texas. Ted was a Pearland resident all of his life. He worked for the City of Pearland for several years until he retired. He was a United States Navy Veteran and was also a member of the Pearland Knights of Columbus #8960. Ted will be best remembered for his talented wood crafting skills, his love for both Country and Spanish music and always caring about others. His family has an overwhelming love for Ted, feel he deserves to rest in peace and miss him greatly already. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carmen Flores; son, Edward Flores; siblings, Pedro Flores, Ramona Handy and Maria Flores. He is survived by his adult children, Carmen Flores, Martha Robles and Ernest Flores; three grandchildren; siblings, Tina Jasso, Santos Flores, Kathleen Bogar, Frank Flores, Jr., and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm.at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581. Rite of Committal to follow at South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
