Tony Edward West

Tony Edward West, 63, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2025. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 14, 1962, to Arnold Lee West and Patricia Ann Humphrey, Tony lived life with quiet strength, a simple wit, and a love for the outdoors.

He worked for many years at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, before finishing his career as a Fire Equipment Inspector at Fire Tron in Houston, Texas. Tony was “old school” through and through who valued hard work, straight talk, and getting things done.

Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, camping, gardening, and tinkering with anything that had a motor. He approached his hobbies the same way he approached life: with focus, energy, and a knack for making things work.

Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara Renee West, his mother, Patricia Ann Carriker, and his mother-in-law, Laurel Candace Guice. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Lynn Perrill and husband Mike Perrill, and Stephanie Elizabeth West; his grandchildren Gabriel River Perrill and Olivia Renée Perrill; his brother Ronnie West; his sisters Debra Hamlett, and Sandra Titman and their children.
