He was born in Bradford, England, on November 23, 1982, to Tony Bui and Rosie Tran. He and his wife, Alissa Nguyen, were together for 23 years and married for 13 of them. Tuan was a pharmacist for 16 years. Through his career, he had the opportunity to help others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around him.
Tuan was someone who truly liked to experience life. He enjoyed sports, especially football and basketball, loved trying new foods and restaurants, and was always open to exploring new places and experiences. His independent spirit led him through many different chapters of life, leaving him with countless stories, memories, and experiences that he carried and shared with those around him.
He was preceded in death by his older brother.
He is survived by his father, mother, two sisters, and his wife, Alissa.
One of the most special things about Tuan was the way he made his presence felt without needing to be the loudest person in the room. He was calm, observant, welcoming, and deeply supportive. Although he was very independent, he was always quietly looking out for the people around him, often noticing what others needed before they had to ask. In many ways, he was a quiet guardian to those he loved—someone his family and friends could always count on for reassurance, encouragement, and understanding.
Tuan’s life was defined not only by his accomplishments, but also by the curiosity with which he lived, the relationships he built, and the care he showed to those around him. He embraced life through new experiences while always remaining a steady and supportive presence for the people he loved. What will be missed most is the quiet way he showed up for people, the experiences he shared, and the sense of comfort that came from simply having him there. His family and friends will continue to carry forward the stories, laughter, and memories he gave them and will always be grateful for the life they were fortunate enough to share with him.
