Una Pearl Keen was born in Sacramento, California on May 7, 1959 to William and Emma Rhoades. She passed from this life on June 6, 2026 and went to live with our Father in Heaven. She is now singing with the angels. She met the love of her life, Rodney Keen, on June 26, 1974. They were married on May 10, 1975. She leaves behind her husband of fifty-one years, two daughters, Shannon Dean and her husband, Stephen Dean, Brook Thompson and her husband, Dwayne Thompson; five grandchildren, Camden Thompson and wife Alyssa, Ashley Davis, Ethan Davis, Rylee Thompson, and Eli Thompson. She also leaves behind a stepson, Rodney Keen II and wife Della. She also leaves behind church family from California to Texas. It has been this family that has always been there for her and Rod. She would want anyone who does not enjoy living within a solid church family to find a good church home where they can worship Jesus just as she always has. Una and her soul-mate, Rod, have faithfully and joyfully served the Lord for more than fifty years. Una loved the Lord, Rod, family, friends, cooking, sewing, and traveling - in that order. She often spoke of her triune covenant between God, Rod and her. For her, they were the original family. It was only after that covenant was made that the Lord blessed them with more family. They traveled throughout the country for nine years in a motorhome that she drove before settling in League City, Texas. They have been attending the Southeast Church of Christ in Friendswood, Texas for the past ten years. Her celebration of life will be held there on June twentieth at 10:00 a.m.. If anyone would like to leave a donation in her name the charities that we support are, of course, our church, but also Hope for Haiti’s Children and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
