Valerie D Sanchez

Valerie Dawn Sanchez, 36 of Pasadena, passed away August 8,2016. She was born in Pasadena, Texas on February 14, 1980 to Elaine Miller and Mariano Sanchez. She lived with her wife of 12 years Rachel Rubio. For the last 7 years Valerie worked as a hearing audiologist for Beltone, a job she truly enjoyed.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved ones. She was kind hearted and was always willing to help a friend in need.

She is preceded in death by her father Mariano Sanchez, her grandparents Juan and Mary Sanchez, Jim Utley, Elinor Murk and her uncle John Utley.

She is survived by her wife Rachel Rubio, step children Nicholas Rubio, Moises Iracheta, Nicole Rubio, Matthew Hamann, grand daughter Adriana Iracheta. Mother Elaine Miller, sisters Lori Juarez and husband Juan, Mary Lou Sanchez, Betty Cuccerre and fiancé Ralph, brother Mariano Sanchez Jr.,and partner Chris, sister Mariana Calk Sanchez and husband Josey. Nephew John John Juarez, Nieces, Yolanda Juarez, Jessica Thompson and husband Kevin, Nicole Cuccerre and fiancé Eric and Bianca Cuccerre, great nieces Jayden and Kadence Thompson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
