Vivian Frances Hughes, 95, passed away at home, Saturday, March 24, 2012. Born in Leonard, TX., she graduated with a BS degree from Pan American University in Edinburg, TX. She was a member of TSTA, taught elementary school for 24 years and was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters; Caron Noland and husband Bill of League City, TX., Norma Elkins and husband Phil of Altadena, CA., and son Macon Hughes and wife Pam of Tomball, TX., nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband L. W. Hughes, parents Wines and Birdie Macon, and four siblings
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 12:30pm, Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, TX 77598.
