William R. Marsh

William R. “Billy Bob” Marsh, of League City, Texas passed away on November 14, 2018. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 10, 2018 to Dora and Robert Marsh. He was married to Jimmie Gail Marsh for 35 years. He attended San Marcos Junior College before beginning his 70-year career as a Yacht Broker extraordinaire and owned Houston Yacht Club and Marsh Marines.

He was a member of Lakewood Yacht club and Houston Yacht club. Billy Bob had a passion for sailing, sail racing, traveling and was a dedicated family man.

He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Gail Marsh; sons Robert A. Marsh, Darryl (Kay Guthrie) Marsh; daughter Lauren Sean Armstrong; grandchildren, Nathan A Kimberly L., Lindsey Marsh ( Steven LaBarbera), Preston W. Marsh, Sarah Katherine Marsh, Robbie Benet, Kyrin T. Armstrong; great grandchildren, Courtland Page Marsh, Carly Margaret Marsh, Garrett Lee Spradlin, Layna Christine Marsh, Jacob Allen Marsh; nieces Nan Guthrie (Don) Wilson, Sarah Guthrie Jeff) Wrobleski, Carol Ruth Guthrie, Denise Guthrie, Freddy Guthrie (Travis) Tisdale.

Family and Friends are welcome to meet at the Lakeview Mausoleum at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM to say goodbye and wish him fair winds and following seas.
