William Everett Thompson, 80, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away January 7th, 2025. He was born in Texas City, Texas on November 2nd, 1944 to Jens and Genevieve (Crossman) Thompson. He was married to Jackie (Robinson) Thompson for 48 years.
Willie had a career as a heavy equipment operator for Halliburton-Brown and Root. He was a member of the Army-Vietnam Veteran and had a passion for fishing and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jens and Genevieve Thompson, brothers Charles Thompson, Robert Thompson, sister-in-law Mary Thompson.
Willie is survived by his wife Jackie Thompson, son and daughter-in-law William David Thompson and Lynnette Thompson, daughter and son-in-law Richard and Faith Kilmer, grandchildren Nicole Kilmer, Trent Thompson, Natalie Kilmer, Lance Thompson, Lauren Goodwin (and husband-Peyton Goodwin), and Jack Kilmer, brother Richard Thompson, sister-in-law Jeanie Thompson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
