William E. (Bill) Tucker Jr. of Yoakum TX went to be with his loving wife on June 1, 2014. June 1st was his 68th wedding anniversary to Billie who preceded him in death in 2000.Bill is survived by his son Randy Tucker,daughter-In-law Carrie Tucker daughter Pam Moritz, grandkids Richard Dudman,
granddaughter-in law Kristina Dudman, Jake Tucker, Averie Beltran, Robert Rackely, Sarah Martinez and Rebekah Durel and great granddaughter Aurelia Rose Dudman.Bill flew in WWII as a tail gunner in the B17 “Fighting Fortress” for the 306th Bomb Group, 367th Squadron.Bill was instrumental in the development of the First Capitol Park in West Columbia TX. and the West of the Brazos Swim Team. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday June 7th at:Forest Park East Funeral Home 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster TX 77598. Family request that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the City of West Columbia and note “First Capitol Park”.
