William Clyde Walters

He was married to his true love Joann for 58 years. Bill spent his career as a River Towboat Captain and later as a Port Captain. He was a longtime member of the Churchill Baptist Church. Bill loved fishing, wood working, pen making, baseball and most of all playing 42.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Joann, mother Rachel, father William and his two sisters Marguerite Newsom and Dorothy Hosmer.

He is survived by his two sons Larry and David and David's wife Terry.He is also survived by grandchildren Kirt Walters, Jill Beck and Jason Walters along with many great grandchildren.

He will always be in our memories.

A visitation for William will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
