Willie Mae Jones

Willie Mae Jones, 82, of West Texas City, passed away April 4, 2016. She was born in Washington County on March 13, 1934 to Lucy Randle and Warren Madison. She was married to Ivison Jones for 64 years. Willie had a career in environmental services for UTMB and retired after 25 years. She was a member of Carter Temple CME.

She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Madison; mother, Lucy Felder-Madison; step-father, James Randle; brother, Clarence Madison; and sister, Gracie Mae Rivers.

Willie is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Ivison Jones; daughters Icille Jones and Gayle Jones; son, Kenneth Jones (Gail); three grandkids she raised, Dwanna Norman (Donial), Lakeishia Jones (Howard) and Ashley Jones; siblings Charlie Madison (Lucy) of Houston, Clyde Madison (Louise) of La Marque, Leo Williams of Houston; Leatrice Williams of Houston; and Lucinda McDowell (Authur-deceased) of Houston; step-daughters Faye Dell Daily (Freddie Jean-deceased) and Barbara Young (Willie).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home; 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Willie’s Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
