Wilson W. Ardis, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born in Cortland, New York on December 23, 1928 to James and Mabel Ardis. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and then moved to Texas where he married Jo Nell Bahlmann on December 17, 1953. He retired from Shell Oil Company after 20 years of employment. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jo Nell Ardis, his son, Robert Ardis, and three daughters, Mary King, Amy Mingle (and husband Gary) and Joyce Sanchez (and husband Andrew). He has four grandchildren: Amanda Nguyen, Ryan Mingle, Emily Mingle and Brian Robinson; two step-children: Katie Sanchez and Drew Sanchez; and 2 great grandchildren: Lexie Mingle and Benson Nguyen. Dr. Robert Joiner officiated the services for Mr. Wilson Ardis. In lieu of usual rememberances please make donations to First United Methodist Church of Pearland.
