Renowned author Annie Dillard passed away at her home in South Wellfleet, MA, on September 15, 2026. Born on April 30, 1945, Dillard was 81, and died from natural causes, overlooking the cove that she loved. She is survived by her sole child, Cody-Rose Clevidence, and four stepdaughters.
