We decided to move to Maine in 1981. Charlie and Wendy had very little. But, with abundand christian love, they shared all they had with us. We still live in the same town and attend the same church. Although they moved back to Wellfleet many years ago, we still were connected through friends, relatives, and, most importantly, the Lord. Welcome home Charlie, thy good and faithful servant. Until we meet again!

We met Charley and Wendy and the family decades ago and appreciate all the family. Charley had a classic Cape Cod accent. I remember one conversation where he was speaking about "Mac". "Mac, who's Mac?" I asked. "Mac" he repeated. Then he gave the last name. I said, "Oh, Mark." He gave significant time to reading classic colonial New England theologians, as well. God-speed, Charley.

I remember fondly that when we lived in the Florida Keys, Gramma and Grandpa Valli and Uncle Charley, Uncle Gene, and Uncle Sherb would take the trek from Wellfleet to the Florida Keys in their Cadillac for an extended stay. I looked forward to that every year! I also loved visiting with them when we would travel to Wellfleet. I haven't seen Uncle Charley in many years, but I still have very clear and loving memories of him! May he rest in peace and I pray for his family while they deal with his passing. He is in a far better place in the immediate presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
