Jeanne P. Davis

Born in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Elizabeth A. (Spier) and David W. Peck, Jeanne was raised and educated in Enfield, CT and went on to study at Bay Path University in Springfield. Having spent many summers as a child at her grandparent’s cottage in Truro, Jeanne followed her love of Cape Cod and settled there permanently in the 1950’s. She worked for Duarte Insurance for over 30 years and was also a member of the Truro EMT & Rescue Squad. She loved the birds and animals in her yard, gardening, boating, and skiing in New Hampshire. Jeanne will be greatly missed by family and her many friends who lovingly referred to her as “The Bat”.

Jeanne was the wife of Brian Davis, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage; mother of, Cheryl Costa (David), Debra Locke (Mike), Scott Perry, Samantha Perry, and the late David Perry all of Truro; grandmother of Elizabeth, Molly, Michael, Andrew, Diana, and Brandon; and great-grandmother of Remi, Isabella, Myla, Everett, and Dahila.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Wellfleet United Methodist Church, 246 Main St., Wellfleet. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne’s memory may be made to the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, www.capecodhealth.org Arrangements under the direction of the Nickerson Funeral Home – Wellfleet.
