

Born on May 13, 1949, in Lowell, MA, he was the son of Charles C. Roscoe and Vera (Willett) Roscoe. He grew up alongside his brother, Ronald. Kenneth earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and later received his Master of Divinity from the Andover Newton Theological School.
In 1974 Kenneth became an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ. After serving as an Associate Pastor in Framingham. MA and Tell City, IN He would become the paster of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Wellfleet, Cape Cod, MA, where he would serve for 23 years
Kenneth would serve as the auxiliary protestant chaplain at the 762 RADS, N. Truro AFS, MA from 1981-1985.
In April 1985 Kenneth joined the Air Force and was awarded the Air Force commendation medal, Air force achievement medal and the Air force outstanding unit award. During his service he was promoted to caption in 1987, and finally to major in 1993. Kenneth was an IMA chaplain with the 66th Airbase wing, Hanscom AFB MA. He was the sole chaplain for the 6th space warning squadron, at Cape Cod Air force station, Sagamore, MA
Some of his favorite pastimes included playing the piano and violin. He was also an active member of the Provincetown Lions Club and a Master Mason of the Pentucket Lodge in Lowell MA and a lifetime member of The Order of DeMolay.
Kenneth is survived by his brother Ronald E. Roscoe and his wife Alyson of Inverness FL. , and his two nephews Justin Roscoe of Chicago and Jared Roscoe of Rhode Island.
A memorial visitation for Kenneth will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Nickerson Funeral Home, 340 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667. Following the memorial visitation will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Wellfleet, 200 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667. A private burial will be held at a later date.
