Marianna Greeley

Born at home in Provincetown on November 22,1944 to Mary M. Gill and John Andrews . Marianna went to school in Provincetown and then to work at the Cold Storage in the West End.

Married to Lawrence A.Greeley August 9,1963 in Provincetown . She had two daughters Karen Lynn Greeley and Kathleen Lee Greeley.

Once her children were school age she became a cook in various restaurants in town.A few being Stormy Harbor, Fanizzis , Kelsey's Diner,Grand Central, Fat Jacks and Bayside Betsy's.

Since cooking was her passion she traveled to Key West to cook at the Pier House and Milan Italy to cook at the New York Cafe in 1997. She said it was a experience of a lifetime taking the train through Switzerland seeing the country.

Marianna is survived by her daughter Kathleen Gregory and grandson Troy Gregory of Eastham and Stephen Gregory of Harwich. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Greeley in 1988 and daughter Karen Greeley in 2019.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday May 23, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Nickerson Funeral Home 340 Main St, Wellfleet, MA 02667. A burial will follow at The Cemetery of the Church of Saint Peter the Apostle in Provincetown, MA.
