Raymond Riley "Ray" Marsh, 91, passed away suddenly on November 22nd at his home in Truro, while with loved ones. He was the husband of the late Antoinette Marsh.

The son of John and Betty Marsh, he was born on April 5, 1932 in Elba, Alabama. He graduated from Red Level High School in 1950.

Raymond joined the United States Air Force on June 27, 1950. He was stationed in San Antonio, TX, Biloxi, MS, Bangor, ME, and Freising, Germany. Upon being discharged, he returned to the states. He re-enlisted in 1954 and was sent to Panama City, FL, Tripoli, Libya, Udine, Italy, Benghazi, Libya, and to North Truro, MA where he met Antoinette Williams. They married in 1960 and later welcomed two daughters. During this time, he was deployed to Saigon, Vietnam. Upon his return to North Truro, the family accompanied him to the Azores followed by Albuquerque, NM. From there he was deployed to Thailand and Kuwait before returning to his family in Albuquerque.

Raymond retired on July 31, 1976 with the rank of Master Sergeant after serving 26 years in the United States Air Force. The family returned to North Truro where he worked for the Cape Cod National Seashore from 1978-1994.

Raymond was predeceased by his siblings, Jeff, Bill, Paul and Vesta, along with his wife of 60 years, Antoinette. He leaves behind two daughters, Darien Deschaine of Truro and Amy Wheeler of South Dennis, granddaughters Alex Wheeler and Jordan Wheeler, and grandson Joshua Wheeler, all of South Dennis, as well as his feline companion, Boo Boo.

Raymond will be laid to rest at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in a private burial for the immediate family.
