He was a kind and caring individual as well as a first rate hand at the helm. I was a pleasure to have known him and worked with him.

My heart and prayers go to Mary, Sean, and James. Stretch will be missed in our neighborhood. He was always kind to us. As a kid, between his diving for pirate treasure and his height, he was always magical and special to me, and always will be. I'm sorry I'm not in Wellfleet now to pay my respects. Love to you all.
