Richard B. Higgins

Born in Jamaica Plain, MA on September 19, 1932, Richard attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He later entered the insurance industry and had a long and successful career retiring in 1986.

Richard met his partner of 54 years (Ralph Travis) when he was about 21 years old. They had a wonderful life together living in Boston, Fort Myers, FL, and NYC. Ralph succumbed to cancer in 2007. Richard then met his current partner, Terrell Graham, through a mutual friend in Florida in 2012. Terrell was able to share a beautiful life with Richard for many years before the sad signs of dementia started to occur.

Richard is survived by his spouse, Terrell Graham, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Richard will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Mary of the Harbor, 517 Commercial St., Provincetown, MA. A Funeral Service in his honor will follow beginning at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary of the Harbor, concluding with a Committal Service at St. Peter's Cemetery, Provincetown, MA.
