Bob was born in Reading, PA on August 7th, 1945. He graduated from high school and went into the Army, serving as an Expert (rifle). He also became the kitchen supervisor. He was awarded the Defense Service Medal.
Bob moved to Provincetown, MA in the 80’s. He worked for local stores and restaurants; his last job was working at the Provincetown Parking Lot for 20 years.
In his free time, he enjoyed movies, music and going to art galleries. He was very religious and would frequent different churches in the area. Every year he would go on a religious retreat in Florida. One church specifically held a special place in his heart, The First Spiritualist Church in Willimantic CT. He really enjoyed attending and the people who also frequented the church. It was a place that made him feel welcome.
Bob was a quiet man with a big heart. He loved nature walks, especially Beach Forest. He also was always doing something nice for the people in his life.
Bob is survived by his sister Roberta Willson and her husband Stephen Willson as well as two nieces and two nephews. He is predeceased by his father Robert Seidel, his mother Virginia (Brady) and his sister Robin Seidel.
Bob left a big impact on all that knew him. He will always be loved and deeply missed.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peters Church, 11 Prince Street, Provincetown, MA 02657, on October 3, 2026, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow Mass in St. Peter's Cemetery.
