Peacefully at Scarborough Grace Hospital with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born October 12, 1936, the daughter of Cornelia (Vooys) and Gerrit Van Santen in Cappelle aan de Yssel, Netherlands. She was the much loved wife of Gerrit Van Meggelen and wonderful mom to Renee Van Meggelen and mother-in-law to Chris Cougler. She was the awesome Oma to Luke and Eric Cougler. She was beloved sister of Corrie Krijt of Cappelle ann de Yssel, Netherlands. She was predeceased by her sisters Jannie Van Wyngaarden of Bloomfontein, South Africa, Wilhelmina deGraaf of Brampton and sister Emmy in infancy and brothers Fred Van Santen, Ger Van Santen, Cornelius Van Santen, Aad Van Santen and Joop Van Santen.
There will be a celebration of Ada's life at Holland Christian Homes 7900 McLaughlin Rd south, in Brampton in Harmony Hall in Trinity Tower on December 31st at 1:30pm.
