It is with a very heavy heart that that I must share that Brian James Andrew Coyne passed away on Wednesday, October16, 2024. This was not unexpected as he had been suffering from many ailments for a number of years.
Brian was a loving son to his parents Kathleen (nee Breen) and father, James Coyne. He was a dedicated husband who lovingly cared for his wife (my mum) during her battle with Alzheimer's. My dad was my rock and I always knew I could rely on him to be there for me. He was a fun and kind papa to his granddaughter, Keira, even when he was ill he made her feeling special. My dad treasured my husband, Pierre, and they shared many laughs over the years.
My dad also leaves behind his brother-in-law & sister-in-law (Charles & Margaret Gorman) and his nephews Stephen, Ian and Paul (Shona) and sister-in-law, Anne Gorman, who has enjoyed many adventures with my parents.
We left Scotland early 1970s and dad set up a home for us in Canada. My dad was master carpenter by trade and was meticulous by nature. He then changed careers to work in the home construction industries and oversaw many projects throughout Toronto and other parts of Ontario. His honesty and his attention to details made him a sought after employee.
He was dedicated to the church. My dad often volunteered his services to our local parishes.
Brian was handsome, intelligent, funny, outgoing, reliable, kind and just. He e also leaves behind some wonderful friends.
The lessons you have taught me are etched into my heart and soul. Godspeed and may flights angels sing thee to they rest.
