JONES, Carol Ann ~ 1940-2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol Ann Jones, after a valiant struggle with respiratory disease at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Thursday, April 29th 2010 in her 70th year. Cherished wife of Gilbert Ronald Jones Sr. Devoted mother of Wanda (David) Rapson, Gilbert Jr. (Patricia) Jones, Warren (Kim) Jones. Beloved nana to Robin, Amy, Matthew, Adam, Bradley, Warren Jr. and Sabrina. She will be sadly missed by her mother Florence (Molly) Rickerby, sister Gloria (David) Allen, Doreen (Russ) Pickering. She is predeceased by her father Victor Goddard. Lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Family are gathering to celebrate Carol’s life at GIFFEN-MACK “SCARBOROUGH” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East (just west of Kingston Road) West Hill, 416-281-6800 on Monday, May 3rd 2010 from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 4th 2010 in the Chapel. Interment: Pine Hills Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Chien, 9th floor nurse Sally, her nursing manager Lynn for their wonderful care and compassion.
