Passed away on December 11, 2014 at Centenary Hospital with his family at his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia McDonald and loving father of Jeanine, Heather and Doug, Dad loved life and to give to his family and community. He worked tirelessly to give to Scarborough and its citizens, volunteering for over 30 years with organizations including the Scarborough Race Relations Committee, the Curran Hall Community Association and as Board President and founding member of the Scarborough Community Care Access Centre and its provincial organization. Dad loved animated movies and believed that “When life gets you down do you wanna know what you’ve gotta do? Just keep swimming!” We miss him desperately and he will always be in our hearts and minds as we keep swimming.
