Corradina Calvo

Corradina Calvo known to her friends as Rinuccia, peacefully passed away early morning at the age of 74 on Wednesday, November the 5th , 2014 at her daughter Graziella's house. She was born and raised in Portopalo, Sicily and married her husband Giorgio (Gino) Calvo and had her first three children in Pachino. They came to Toronto, Canada in 1968 to start a new life and had their two Canadian sons. She will be sadly missed by her five children Angelo and his partner Debbie, Graziella and her husband Giovanni, Tina and her husband Ignazio, Joe and his wife Ara and Roberto and his wife Ana. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren Desiree and her husband Richard, Corradina and her husband Scott, Adam, Anthony, Daniella, Giorgio, Bryson, Sydney, Giorgio, Avery, Adrianna and Gabriella and two great grandchildren Domenic and Sienna.

Family and friends may gather at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. West Hill, ON. L1E 2S2. (1 block west of Kingston Rd) on Sunday November 9, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 10, 2014 at 9:30a.m. at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church 2210 Lawrence Ave. E. Scarborough, ON L1P 2P9 (west of Kennedy Rd, Scarborough) Corradina will be Entombed at Hightland Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
