It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Delores Elizabeth Fraser peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Wednesday August 25th in her 82nd year. Loving mother of Sean, Darren, Martin and Shawna. Loving daughter of Cornelius and Evelyn Fraser (Beals-Simmons). She had 9 other siblings (Falesha, Alberta, Viola, Edith May, Marlene, Jason, Philips, Floyd, and Carl). She worked as a Nurse's Aide at Extendicare Guildwood for 16 years.
Originally from Dartmouth Nova Scotia she moved to Toronto during her teens. Delores loved nature and spending time outdoors, appreciating the simplest beauties in life. She was very skilled at knitting and loved creating new pieces for people. She was a kind, generous soul, full of life with a great sense of humor. She touched the heart and made an immediate impact of anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her, Delores cherished spending time with her family & friends. She was a hard worker and she never gave up, always striving to learn something new. Very passionate and a strong advocate for kids, seniors and animals.
Global Kingdom Ministries Church, especially the Congregation, was her life and loved them all like they were her own family, same applied to her co-workers as well as residents she cared for at Extendicare. Delores loved her family fiercely, She was extremely friendly, warm, welcoming, full of love, positivity, unselfish, generous, selfless, respectful and never had a mean bone in her body. She loved everyone and they loved her equally as much. Delores always had a great story to tell you.
She will be sorely missed by everyone. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s / Dementia Society, as well as Children's Aid Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
