On the morning of December 3rd 2017, at the age of 45, Devon was called home peacefully in his sleep. The devastation of his passing has changed many lives forever. His contagious smile, deep hearty laugh and timeless voice of an angel will be missed by everyone. His love for people, music and animals showed the gentle soul he was.
Devon was born on February 22nd 1972, in Jamaica, to his mother Joan Fisher and his father Osborne Wellington (predeceased). He leaves behind eight siblings; Ann-Marie Chin, Marjorie McDonald, Rose-Marie Wellington, Michelle Wellington, Osborne Jr. Wellington, Nicola Hylton, Janice Hylton and Ordel Wellington. Predeceased by brother Leslie McDonald. Also missed by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Survived by the family he created; left to ride solo after 24 years, his wife Kimberly, their five children; Justin Kyle (his adored son and true friend), Zachariah Anthony (his companion for perfection), Jacob Peter (his carbon copy twin), Summer Rose Marie (daddy’s little girl) and Devon Jr. (his baby boy). His two angels/nieces/daughters; Amanda Silvergold (Vito) and Brittany Silvergold (AJ), a crazy sister-in-law Karen Silvergold, two grump babies Domenic and Gabriella. His mother and father-in-law Alma and Brian Pawis and a very special aunt Marie Railey. Countless co-workers, friends and family.
