POUW, Doris – It is with regret and sadness to announce the sudden death of Doris, on Sunday April 3rd, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband Cornelius Pouw, son Garry William Walker, daughter-in-law Susan Walker, and sisters Shurli MacLean-Baron, Mildred Beazley, Elizabeth Migel and brother John McLean, and nieces and nephew. She was a Lease Administrator with HDS Retail for 31 years. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many, and will be deeply missed. Visitation will take place Friday April 8th at 12 noon, followed by a memorial service at 1 PM at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough ON. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made on Doris’ behalf to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
