Edson Jeffers

Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend Edson Jeffers passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2026 at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife Ramona Lewis-Jeffers, brother John Jeffers, sisters Evelyn Rogers and Lillian Ryan, son Neville Jeffers, daughter in-law, Ruth Lalgie, niece Dawn Campbell, nephew Denny Gill, grandchildren Travis Lalgie, Riley Lalgie Jeffers, Tasia Jeffers, and Malcolm Jeffers, and many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Violetta Locker-Jeffers and his sister Violetta Mack.

Edson was born in Plymouth, Montserrat on May 9th, 1933. His childhood in Montserrat instilled a lifelong passion for history, creativity, and invention. Among his favourite past times was reminiscing about his life adventures which took him from Montserrat to England to Canada. Edson loved to relay his stories to all who enjoyed listening.

A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home located at 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough on Monday March 9th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The funeral will be held at Scarborough Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4350 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The internment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough. All friends and family are welcome.
