Elaine Grace Lang passed away peacefully of natural causes on Monday, September 29th, 2025. She is survived by her sister’s, Margo (Phoenix), Eileen (San Diego) and by her children, Sharon, Bradley and Raymond. Elaine was pre-deceased by her brother’s Charlie and Gordon and her husband Leslie.
Mom had a very warm heart and a special brand of humour. She was extremely social, and friendly. Everyone who met her liked her and looked forward to seeing her again. Mom frequently welcomed and hosted neighbours, friends and family into our home for various events throughout the years.
She exhibited her creativity as a self-taught cook and baker devoting weeks every November to bake a plethora of holiday desserts. Guests enjoyed her coconut snowballs, raspberry shortbread cookies and Carmelita's just to name a few of her delicious delights.
Her family would like to thank the incredible staff at Extendicare Guildwood for the love and extraordinary care they gave her over the past four years. Her caregivers made her laugh and kept her happy! Thank you all!!
As per Elaine’s request, there will be no memorial service or celebration of life. A cremation has taken place.
