Deeply saddened to hear of Garth's passing. I share having such lively discussions with him during our panel meetings. Garth always had a lively comment and his ideas were well appreciated by all of us. During our sessions in the Metrolinx Regional Reference Panel, we all 36 in number stared as total strangers, but at the end of it we were all such good friends. We will all miss him. May he rest in Peace.

I met Garth in October 2018 as a fellow member of the Metrolinx Regional Reference Panel (2018-2020). He proved to be a thoughtful and reasoned person and I am saddened to hear of his passing. His memory will continue to live on as a treasure.
May God give him eternal peace and his family strength.
Rest in peace Garth.

Garth,
I am shocked at this news of your passing. I still can't believe it.
We knew each other since we were kids in the same neighborhood, played together, laughed together.
I remember when we were 14 and we loved drawing pictures and we made up a company for our artwork and called it V&G Corp.
Then we both had famalies and become Godfathers to each others kids. There are many other memories. Although we hadn't seen each other in recent years, we kept in touch on social media and connected at each others birthdays.
Still, I can't believe this. I won't say bye, because i believe that as long as you are in my thoughts and heart, you're always here. God bless pal. Always be thinkin' of you. love ya.

Picard: Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we’ve lived. After all Number One, we’re only mortal.
Riker: Speak for yourself sir, I plan to live forever.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I still can't believe this is true. Garth was a Facebook friend. I never met him in person but his posts always brought a smile to my face. He was a funny guy.
Lately he posted that he was at the hospital but he looked ok to me. He asked his Facebook friends to wish him luck which I did. This is why I can't believe he's gone! He didn't look that sick on his last picture. Life is so unpredictable. It's sad that he lost his life this way. Bye Garth!
