With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gladys Myrtella Grant, she left us peacefully at her Residence at Extendicare Guildwood. She was in her 94th year of life.

Gladys was born in Manchester, Jamaica, to the late Ephraim and Almina Elizabeth Fuller. She later emigrated to London, England where she began her career as a nurse, married, and started a family.

Loving sister of Edgar (Edna), and the late Zitta (Bill), and Easton(Iris).

Beloved mother of Hailu (Steve), Monica, and Yvonne.

Cherished grandmother of Ayanna, Maïsha, Kaleb, and Jaysun, and Great Grandmother of Daija. She is remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and devoted friends.

During her retirement, She enjoyed arts, crafts, cultural activities, nature, watching Wheel of Fortune, music, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that she would not tackle.

Gladys was a strong, determined and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.
