G.K. I have had a difficult time sitting down to deal with all this, but yesterday gave the closure I guess I needed. Obviously as the family has so eloquently stated, you were more than just a Brother-in-law to all of us. You were family! A friend, a best friend, and a great Mentor to me. I will miss our in tense competition to be Mom's # 1, ( GSG, Good Son Gord LOL ). I will miss our bets on all the big games like we did, but I will miss you the most. Sorry to hear the passing of Gord.I remember the wonderfull days we shared in St.Lambert as well as our days at UNB.Many of our friends including Gord spent some time in the Laurentians and again those will be remembered and missed.
One is always sorry at a time like this that we didn't keep in contact however family commitments took priority.However CCHS reunions did help in regaining those friendships.

Jackie and I are so pleased that we had the good fortune of spending an enjoyable weekend with Gord and July in May 2012 where Gord and I jointly celebrated Father's Day and we all attended Amanda's high school graduation.

Thank you so much for being such a big part of my life and for being the best role model anyone could ever ask for. I will miss all the traditions we had together. Whether it was making sure there was always pulp-free orange juice for me whenever I visited, or driving hours and hours just to watch me play hockey, you always supported me and did everything you could to make me laugh and have a good time. I am so lucky that I had you in my life. I will never forget you. I love you Poppa and I will miss you so much.

Thank you for being the best poppa Andrew and I could have asked for. We have so many great memories with you that we will always remember. You always had the best jokes and made every holiday or vacation so much more fun. We loved golfing and fishing with you, and I will never forget the small traditions such as the Tim Hortons chocolate chip muffins you would have waiting for us every morning when we would visit you in scarborough, the 10 minute long voicemails you would leave on our home machine, and your own personal touches on all our birthday and christmas cards. Thank you for always supporting me and being such a big role model in my life. I love you and will miss you tons.

Gordon and I worked together at Domtar for 28 years and it was the greatest working experience I ever had.  
I never knew Gordon to be angry or have a cross word with anyone.  He was the happiest, funniest person I ever met and made each day a pleasure to be at work.  
He was a gentleman in every sense of the word and truly cared for everyone he met.
He may be gone but he will never be forgotten by those who knew him.

My heartfelt condolences. It has been many years since Gord and I got together but once a friend with Gord, always a friend. I roomed with Gord at UNB and even tho the miles have separated us over the years , our friendship remained strong. He was one of my best and most relaible friends ever. I had the good fortunes of getting to know your |Mom and Dad and they , too, were such special people . I met you and your late husband a couple of times but that was some 60 + years ago. Gord, it has been quite a while since we were neighbours, but I still remember the many laughs we had. You were so full of mischief, and I always looked forward to Halloween when you would call on the phone and try to scare me.  Then when I would start laughing, you would say, "how did you know that it was me?"  Our paths only crossed occasionally these last several years, but we were very touched when you and Judy came to our 50th anniversary two years ago.  What a wonderful surprise that was!
