Surrounded by her family, Harlina Tjandra, at the age of 83, passed peacefully away after a short battle with cancer on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Born in Indonesia on December 01, 1933, she was predeceased by her late husband Harry Tjandra in 2014. Harlina will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, Sugianto (Jacquie), Sanny, Robert (Filly) and Jacob. Beloved grandmother to Jasmine, Jacinta, Edwin (Dinda), Angeline (Ricky), Edrick, Adeline, Stephanie, Ricky, Priscilia, Giselle and Gavin and cherished great grandmother to Fio, Gail and Jamie. Harlina was a remarkable cook who loved preparing memorable meals for her family. Her culinary skills were in demand by a wide circle of family and friends. Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough (one block west of Kingston Road) at 10am.
