

On Monday, October 3rd, 2022, Jason passed away surrounded by his loved ones at Sunnybrooke Health Science Center at the age of 56.
In 1997, he had a tragic accident which severed his spinal cord, rendering him a quadriplegic.
Following his accident, he has battled numerous health problems the last 25 years.
Despite his many obstacles, he never gave up on life. He was a fighter, and always made the best of what was bestowed upon him.
He was proud of his heritage and lived his life following the teachings and traditions of his Native culture.
He had a strong love for dogs and shared his life with his 3 companions, Nimkiis, Mukwa and Sadie. He leaves behind his beloved companion, Sadie.
He was loved and will be dearly missed by his loving father, William Diabo, his late mother, Judith Diabo, dear sisters, Kimberly and Suzie and his brothers Bill and Scott. He is also fondly remember by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He touched everyone’s hearts in so many ways. He was truly a man who put others before himself.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including his care givers who played a significant role in supporting him throughout his life.
