Eleanor, as she preferred to be called migrated to Toronto, Canada in 1970 from the beautiful island of Barbados. She lived a wonderful life with her husband the late Arthur Best and her children Lester, Andrew, Donna & the late Ameridith Reid. Eleanor adored her grand children Erika, Ryan, Aaron, Sierra & Jordan and her great grand-son Austin.
She spread love & kindness every single day of her life, everywhere she went.
She will be missed & never forgotten. Eleanor never said goodbye, she always said "until"
Services for Eleanor will be held January 16, 2026, at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, ON M1E 2S2. Visitation will begin at 10:30AM, with the funeral service beginning at 11:30AM. Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, 4130 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1E 2R8. Guests are invited back to Giffen-Mack following the burial for light refreshments.
