Kathleen Mary Karlovich

Kathleen Karlovich (nee Kenemy), beloved mom and nana, passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Surrounded by her most important people, her grandchildren Michelle, Sean and Daniel Clark, and Katrina and Eric Karlovich, she left this world knowing she was loved.

Her spirit is carried on also by her daughter Christine Clark (Stewart), and her daughter-in-law Sandra Karlovich (nee Vasquez) as they ensure the grandkids stay up to snuff. Fortunately for all, Kay had a solid hand in making sure those same grandkids know what is expected.

Predeceased by her husband Nick, son Kirk and brother Arthur (Glenn), she is survived by her big brother Wilfred Kenemy (Josephine). She was also Auntie Kay to his children Jason and Neesa.

A lover of nature, in all it's warm, non-windy forms, Kay's favorite memories were of walking the trails but especially the paths at the Toronto Zoo with her grandchildren. If desired, donations may be made to the Zoo in her name.

The lessons she shared, a teacher till the end, will never be forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday July 19, 2025, just after what would have been her 87th birthday, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., please join us at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, as we celebrate the amazing woman we all knew, loved and will enjoy remembering.
