After a life full of love and concern for others, Kathryn passed away at Providence Health Care, surrounded by her devoted family. Cherished wife of 59 years to Allan “Mr. Baseball” Boyle, beloved mother of Barry, Kelly, Wendy, Guy and Shary Boyle. She will be warmly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, who thrived under her gentle loving care. Raised in Streetsville, Mississauga, Kathryn was a pillar of the St. Margaret in-the-Pines church community throughout her 50 years in West Hill, Scarborough. A secretarial whiz on the Underhill typewriter, Kay held down the office at family-owned On the Spot Glass and Screen from 1966 to 2005. She loved her garden, had a natural talent for drawing, and was always curious for a good story, a non-stop worrier who lived to serve without complaint. Kathryn will be dearly missed by her siblings and extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at St. Margaret in-the-Pines Anglican Church on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. Kathryn endured a stoic battle with Pulminary Fibrosis.
