

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of, Kelvin Clarence Gadsby, 81, of Scarborough, Ontario, unexpectedly the morning of March 26, 2022. He passed due to complications resulting from a brief illness.
He is lovingly remembered by Patricia Anne Wright, his loving partner of 2+ decades who survives him. Kelvin is also survived by his daughter Chantal and partner Robert, son Michael and partner Laura, as well as grandchildren, Hayden, Jacy, Faith, and numerous relatives in Trinidad and the Caribbean, the United States, as well as friends around the world.
Kelvin was born into an Adventist family, to parents Eldica, and Pastor Samuel Gadsby on November 18, 1940, in Maracas Bay, Trinidad. He was the eldest sibling and survived by brothers, Melvin and Glen and sister, Eileen. Kelvin was predeceased by his parents where he was engaged to the ceremonial patriarch of the Gadsby family.
Kelvin and then spouse, Pauline, moved from Trinidad to Canada in the late 1960’s, where they started their family, in Toronto, Ontario. He was the greatest support to his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Kelvin established himself in the local sporting community in many roles, as youth coach, facilitator, and mentor. He was an avid sports fan (GO BLUE JAYS GO!) And provided significant contributions to the soccer community in Canada.
Celebration of Life services will be Monday April 4th, 2022 at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill, Ontario M1E 2S2.
