Margaret Dorothy Dunbar

Margaret Dunbar passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 27, 2019 at Centenary Hospital. She is survived by her children Harvey, Lorne (Luanne), John (Karen), Linda (Larry), and David (Michelle), her grandchildren Glenn, Shannon (Mike), Kelly (Dale), Holly (Scott), Nikki (Mark), Erin (Tim), Melissa (Stethen), Vanessa (James), Michelle-Anne (Jesse), Ronnie (Amanda), Jonathan (Natalie), and Amy; and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Isabelle, James, Charlotte, Acadia, Ashlyn (Sarah), Darrien, Michael, Jared, Aiden, Sawyer, Wyatt, Grayson, Kayean, Aliyah, Kegan, Amelia, Mariah, Aidan, and her great-great granddaughter Addison. She is also survived by her siblings John Skidmore, Ronald Skidmore, and Penny Barr, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

She is Predeceased by her mother Dorothy Skidmore and her father, Arthur Skidmore, and her husband John Edgar Dunbar.

She will always be remembered for her love of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her dogs Jake and Red.

Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East Scarborough, on Thursday July 4th from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Margaret's Cemetery at 4130 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Margaret's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Matthew's House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario.
