Margaret Smith

It is with great sadness that we share the news that we said goodbye to our Mom, Margaret Smith, who peacefully passed away in the early hours of Monday, February 12, 2024, at the age of 92. She has left behind a family who will miss her dearly but will cherish a lifetime of memories. She was an amazing Mom to Andrew (son) and Angela, Jennifer (daughter) and Benton, and grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren Sarah, Stephanie, Patrick and Evan they all meant the world to her. She also leaves behind Graham Tomlinson (brother) and Pauline Tomlinson, as well as her nephews Mark and Neil and an extend family, both back in England and here in Canada. The last few months have been a difficult journey for Mom, but it was made easier for her by having my brother and myself by her side every day to make sure that she was well taken care of by family right to the end and to ensure that her wishes would be honoured. We take solace in knowing that Mom had a long and happy life filled with good times and so many memories that she has left us with which will give us comfort in the coming days and years to come.

I am not sure what happens after we leave this earth, but what I hope and wish for Mom is that she is back together once again with her true love of a lifetime and she is walking hand in hand with Dad along the waterfront with our golden Bryn by her side, with a smile on her face knowing she did it her way…
