There is one less branch on the family tree. With great sadness we announce the passing of Marie Jeanne (Aucoin) Chiasson peacefully at the age of 83 after a long illness. Born and raised in Grand Etang, Nova Scotia, living her adult life in Toronto.
She was the youngest daughter of Mederic and Brigitte Aucoin's 14 children. Survived by son Allan (Paulie), daughter Carol (Jay) LeFort and greatly missed by grandchildren Parker and Jade. Also brothers Joseph Henri, Lionel and sister Lorraine.
She was predeceased by husband of 49 years: Daniel Chiasson (August 2012) as well as siblings: Philomene Chiasson, Noel Aucoin, Katie May Hache, Eddie Aucoin, Luce Yvonne Larade, Julia Doucet, Georgie Aucoin, Albert Aucoin, Marie Helene McGillivray and Marie Jeanne (in infancy).
She was well loved for her infectious smile and laughter, her love of life and her deep love of family and friends. She was much loved and cherished by all who knew her. It's time for her to be at peace.
