Carol and I bonded quickly through the love she shared for her mother and the stories we exchanged from back home. Their love was evident in the way Carol spoke about her. When Carol spoke of her mother, love radiated and filled the room. Carol's stories of her mother and her humour through tough times told her resilience and the strong bond she had with family.

Aunty Sheila was one of the most beautiful people.  She came into our family even before I was thought of,  so she was in my life all my life. I spent the first 11 years growing up in her presence.  I remember her home made ice cream.  I remember her combing my hair. I was born in the house we shared together.  She never said a bad or harsh word to or about anyone. She was a gem. I'll always miss her. I pray that God forgive her and shower his mercy on her. I pray that God bless and give all her family (especially her husband,  my uncle Bern) the strength and courage needed to get through these days.  R.I.P AUNTY SHEILA.

I met Momma Sheila ( I knew her as) almost twenty or so years ago when I  became Carol's friend. A humble, gentle, happy, kind, loving woman and always had a positive conversation with a smile.  My memory of her too, was that she and Dad were so happy together  as they enjoyed walking to their Catholic Church in the neighborhood. She loved the Lord Jesus and now she is in the Presence of  God,  Momma Sheila in exchange you have left loving memories. I pray God's continual Comfort to everyone.
