Murdeena Mary Jordan

Murdeena Mary Jordan (nee Horan) passed away peacefully in her 91st year on July 9, 2025. She joins her husband Alex Jordan of 41 years in heaven. Her children find comfort knowing they are reunited together.

Murdeena will be lovingly remembered by her children Shelley (Jim), Robert (Pina), Grant (Tracey), and her grandchildren Michael, David (Jen), Eric, Stephen, Brian (pre-deceased) and Alexander.

Murdeena loved all her family and friends and cherished her grandchildren. She was known for her passion for sports, especially hockey, watching her grandchildren play and her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. She was active in the church, loved travelling, quilting and entertaining family and friends. She cared deeply for others, putting everyone’s needs above her own, and was loved by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4 on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. West Hill, ON M8Z 2C4 on Thursday July 17, 2025 at 11 am, light refreshments to follow.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Chartwell Pickering City Centre Retirement Residence and the staff on 4 East at Ajax Pickering Hospital for their friendship and compassion.
