My Memories of Yvonne,
I was very little when I visited Yvonne,at her home in Sri Lanka.
My cousin Aubrey ( now deceased) was a good friend of her family.
She was a kind and caring person.
Over the years we migrated to Canada 
The last time I met Yvonne was at her home in Scarborough Ontario Canada.
She cared for the poor and was busy getting boxes packed with food items etc to be sent to the poor in Sri Lanka.
Yvonne, will be always be remembered for her kindness and hospitality extended to us.
May her dear soul rest in Peace.

Aunty Yvonne is my father (Lloyd Lucas' ) cousin .I will always remember her she was such a lovely lady , she was a talented seamstress she even taught me how to sew. Am happy I was able to visit her when I was on holiday in Canada.  and  when ever she came to Sri Lanka she would always inform me she is in town and I would make  it a point to go and see her as she was such a loving aunt who was always with a smile.

Growing up with cousins, Yvonne was one of my favourites, she was genuinely kindhearted and helped anyone, with a smile.  I have lovely memories of many holidays spent from Australia with her at her Scarborough home and enjoyed the friendship we shared. Always the ever welcoming hostess, nothing was too hard for her and she never failed to make you feel at home.  Very talented seamstress and she must have sewn hundreds of beautiful bridal gowns. I remember she worked at a bridal place in Toronto and then at a Daycare. 
She will be missed, R.I.P. Yvonne, you will now be united once again with your beloved Henry.

My condolences to the entire family during these difficult times . Yvonne and I worked together in a daycare and kept in touch even afterwards. A fine , loving person , an excellent seamstress , and great at heart . Rest In Peace .

Life is as fragile as it is beautiful. A gift every day we have it, and when the time we are given winds down, what is left is how we've cherished that gift. Aunt Yvonne was a woman of two worlds; old and new, eastern and western, duty and freedom, and she cheerfully balanced this for her whole life. She was always a gracious hostess, immensely kind, and an incredibly talented seamstress. With her sewing creations and cooking, she always sought to bring joy to those around her. I'm forever grateful that she sewed the dress I designed for my grade 8 graduation. I kept it for 40yrs. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her, and will be forever united with Uncle Henry.
