Oral Williams passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2021, surrounded by his family and loved ones at home. He is survived by his children, siblings and his grandson. Oral was predeceased by his parents, Hambert and Florence Williams as well as two siblings. Born in St. Ann, Jamaica, Oral migrated to Canada some decades ago and made a name for himself both here and back home. He was a man of few words, but always spoke with intention. Yet, he easily enamored those he encountered. An observant, bright, go-getter, who worked tirelessly to provide for not only his children but his loved ones.
A surprise to none, he impacted many lives. He was a private man by nature, which allowed him to procure lifelong, meaningful friendships. His love for his children and his children’s love for him knew no bounds—they were equally smitten. To know Oral was to know love—full of laughter, iconic outfits, and a deep gaze. He will be cherished and loved for years to come.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
