Born into a military family, Bob spent much of his childhood moving across Canada and abroad with his parents, brother Rod, and sister Pat. These experiences helped shape his love of adventure, the outdoors, and time spent with family.
Since 1968, Bob shared a loving marriage with his wife, Gwyn. Together they built a life filled with family, laughter, and lasting memories. He was a cherished father to Evan (Natalie) and Anne (James), a proud grandfather to three beloved grandchildren, and a loving uncle to Kelly, Amanda, David, and Ryan.
Bob loved being active and enjoyed sailing, boating, golf, darts, fishing, and hiking with family and friends. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, steady presence, and deep love for those closest to him.
